So I've decided to update my journal... with a new skin I guess.
So it's November in my estimations, and a chilly month at that.
Lately, on the weekend, I took a trip downtown to OCAD's national portfolio day. I ended up getting down there at 10am thinking that there wouldn't be that much of a wait as the doors were scheduled to open at 11:45am. I was mistaken and learned that people had camped out in line from as early as 8am. I waited and waited and after line after line, finally saw my first interview at 1:45pm.
The teacher commented on how I apparently had a large variety in my portfolio as I included sculptures, paintings, sketches, pastel drawings and photographic prints. He seemed to like it which left me with a positive feeling.
I then was able to catch the end of the Santa Claus Parade and had lunch with ~mitch-meister.
Other than the long, boring wait, my day was pretty fun.
School has been tediously boring as well. I haven't had much homework which I guess I'm thankful for. My classes are pretty easy; Photography, Yearbook, Visual Arts, and Biology. So far my average is 90% so I can only hope that it stays about the same by the end of the semester.
